The climb to the top of Brisbane’s landmark Story Bridge is a physical challenge, but the view from the top makes it well worth the effort. From your impressive vantage point you enjoy sweeping views over the city, the river that winds through it, and the 200 million year old Kangaroo Point Cliffs. These same cliffs regularly tempt abseilers and rock climbers, keen for adventure.
Kangaroo Point is the place to hire a bicycle or rollerblades and enjoy the beautiful city from over 20km of picturesque riverside pathways. You can also hire a kayak and paddle your way around Brisbane’s most leisurely thoroughfare.
If these activities are too close to the ground for you, jump on board an authentic Tiger Moth or a hot air balloon for a joyflight over the surrounding hinterlands and Scenic Rim. You can learn to fly a plane and even how to jump out of one! And for aeronautics of an eco-friendly kind, try your hand at hang gliding at Caboolture.
